Barrister Hamidul Mishbah
President, BOLD (Bangladesh Organization for Learning & Development)

During a recent meeting of the Trustee Board of BOLD (Bangladesh Organization for Learning and Development), Barrister Hamidul Mishbah was elected as President for a two-year term starting on April 1, 2024, and concluding on March 31, 2026. The board also decided to select a President-Elect following the first year of the incumbent president’s term, allowing for a year of grooming before assuming the presidency.

Barrister Hamidul Mishbah is a practicing lawyer at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, the Founder of OLD BAILEY Chambers, and the Bangladesh Intellectual Property Forum. He is highly regarded for his expertise in corporate, intellectual property, and technology law, as well as his extensive experience in policy reform, framework development, and advocacy. Barrister Mishbah has played a key role in drafting and shaping numerous government policies and laws in Bangladesh.

Representing several Fortune 500 companies in Bangladesh, Barrister Mishbah has also served as a Committee Member of the International Trademark Association, a prominent global association of lawyers based in the USA.

Under his leadership, BOLD is set to embark on a five-year roadmap focusing on the evolving landscape of emerging technologies and preparing the next generation of leaders in the learning and development community of Bangladesh.
